Commercial Sales Arborist
Job Summary
Bratt Tree is seeking a motivated and experienced arborist to take a leading role in developing our commercial tree care program. This position is focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with high-value commercial clients, serving as their dedicated point of contact for all arboricultural needs.
This is a unique sales role where arboricultural expertise is valued over sales experience. You will work in a supportive environment that includes a dedicated scheduling and operations team, allowing you to focus on client relationships and site management rather than full-cycle logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Program Development: Actively work alongside the Sales Manager to develop and execute strategies for expanding our commercial client base.
Relationship Management: Identify, initiate, and develop new relationships with key commercial contacts, including Landscapers, Builders/Remodelers, building owners, Homeowners Associations (HOAs), and other commercial accounts.
Dedicated Point of Contact: Serve as the primary, dedicated contact for all commercial clients, who require a single point of contact for streamlined communication and service.
Account Management: Manage a portfolio of specific existing commercial accounts, ensuring their needs are met and services are renewed.
Arboricultural Sales: Assess client properties and sell comprehensive solutions, including tree removal, expert pruning, and Plant Health Care (PHC) programs.
Service & Site Management:
Maintain highly detailed notes and maps of each client's property to provide a top-level, low-friction service experience.
Assist in the management and oversight of a portion of secured jobs to ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Internal Collaboration: Develop strong working relationships with our residential sales team and internal operations staff to ensure seamless project delivery.
Why Bratt Tree?
We are different from most tree care companies, and we are committed to providing an environment where you can succeed.
Family Owned and Operated: We maintain a supportive, team-focused culture.
Unmatched Support System: Bratt Tree has a dedicated scheduling and operations team—a support system not found at any other local tree company. This means you will not be 100% involved in the logistics of scheduling and managing all work, freeing you to focus on client relationships.
Great Team & Processes: You'll be joining a great, friendly team that operates with professional, proven processes already in place.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required: Minimum of two (2) years of professional arborist experience.
Required: Strong knowledge of tree identification, pruning standards, removal techniques, and common plant health care issues.
Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist credential (or the ability to obtain one).
No sales experience is necessary. We are looking for a great arborist with strong communication skills and will provide training for the sales aspect of the role.
Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have a valid driver's license.
